At first, the founder was just looking for something that would click in Baguio. Aware of so many universities in the area, he thought of opening an outlet for pizza and, eventually pasta. That’s where the company got its slogan “Pizza, Pasta & More”. The restaurant’s name “Don Henrico” is the Italianized version of his name.

 Although there were better established pizza-pasta restaurants already, the founder believes that there is still a room for his growing restaurant. And he was right, because faster than you can say “Yum!”, Don Henrico’s stood out from the pack and move down from it’s mountain hide-away to conquer Manila’s taste buds after thousands of word-of-mouth recommendations, praises and persuasions.

 Don Henrico’s conquers Manila and opens a branch in Malate, at the corner of Pedro Gil and A. Mabini St. last December 1998. After a month, Don Henrico’s opens its first mall branch at Festival Mall, Alabang. It conquers the Quezon City restaurant row along Tomas Morato in February 1999.

Don Henrico’s invades the Worldwide Web thru its www.donhenricos.com.ph in September 1999. After a month of invading the website zone, it opens another store in Quezon City located along West Avenue cor Examiner St. and conquers Rizal thru its branch at The Brick Road of Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall last July 2000.
